2007 RBC Canadian Track and Field Championships

OTTAWA Athletics Canada announced today that RBC has signed on as title sponsor of the 2007 Canadian Track and Field Championships. The RBC Canadian Championships will take place in Windsor, Ontario July 12 15 at the University of Windsor Stadium.
The event will be the first fully integrated Canadian track and field championship to feature both Olympic and Paralympic athletes competing in the same competition, said Joanne Mortimore, Athletics Canada Chief Executive Officer. We are proud to have RBC committed to this historic event.
The championships also serve as the selection trials for the 2007 IAAF World Championships, which will be held in Osaka, Japan, August 25 September 2. The RBC Canadian Championships will be broadcast on CBC on Saturday July 21. See your local listings for times.
