Kevin Sullivan wins Continental Airlines Fifth Avenue Mile

OTTAWA – Kevin Sullivan from Brantford, Ont., won the Fifth Avenue Mile in New York on Friday September 30th in a time of 3:54.10. Sullivan who flew in the same day of the race said, “This is the first time I’ve tried flying in on the day of the race, I may try it for all my races now!”
Other Canadian results from New York were Nathan Brannen from Cambridge, Ont., finishing in 10th place in a time of 3:59.40 and Megan Metcalfe from Edmonton, Alb., was 10th on the women’s side crossing the finish line in 4:43.40.
