Nate Brannen has officially qualified for the track and field team which will compete in Beijing, China at the Olympic Games. On Monday he was given an extension to qualify for the team (along with 5 other athletes) due to an injury, he needed to achieve the necessary standard by July 22nd. Nate ran the standard at a race in Rome, Italy today.
He set a new personal best of 3:34.65 and will join Kevin Sullivan and Taylor Milne in the 1500 metres in Beijing.
