Athletics Canada Announces NACAC Cross Country Team

OTTAWA - Athletics Canada announced today the national team that will compete at the 2009 North America, Central America and Caribbean (NACAC) Cross Country Championships in Orlando, Florida on March 7, 2009.
In the men’s 8km race Dylan Wykes of Kingston, ON will return to Orlando to vie for the championship title after finishing third in last year’s race. Also making the trip back to Florida are junior gold medalists Alesandr Kuternin of Toronto, ON and Kendra Schaaf of Craven, SK. Canada won five medals at last year’s NACAC Cross Country Championships and finished first overall in team standings for the junior men and women as well as in the senior women’s category; the senior men’s team placed second.
