IBSA World Youth & Student Championships and Pan American Games
Friday, June 12, 2009
OTTAWA Athletics Canada announced today the athletes that will represent Canada at the 2009 International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) World Youth & Student Championships as well as the IBSA Pan American Games. These competitions will take place in conjunction with one another in Colorado Springs, USA July 15 to 20.
Head Coach Bruce Pirnie on the team; Our IBSA Pan American Team is a terrific blend of veteran Paralympians and up and coming new stars. I look for Beijing Medalist Jason Dunkerley and newcomer Noella Klawitter to headline a strong team performance at the first major International competition.
