Live International Track and Field Coverage on CBC

OTTAWA - Tune into CBC and cbcsports.ca for coverage of three upcoming international track and field competitions. Today the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) Golden League event kicks off the broadcast schedule with the Golden Gala in Rome, Italy. Later this month will see the Meeting Areva, also a Golden League meet, and the IAAF World Youth Championships will also air.

Priscilla Lopes-Schliep of Whitby, ON and Perdita Felicien of Pickering, ON will race head to head in the 100m hurdles in Rome’s Olympic Stadium (Stadio Olimpico). As Lopes-Schliep still hold’s the world’s fastest time registered this year she will look to hold her mark against some of the world’s best. The 100m hurdles will race today at 2:43pm ET.
